The 46-country survey conducted by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism (RISJ) last year confirms this. ‘Legacy print brands’ retain ‘high levels of trust’ among consumers, the report said, with The Economic Times having a trust score of 71, compared to 62 of Financial Times in the UK and 46 of The Wall Street Journal in the US.
