PM switches on e-RUPI digital payments mode

The purpose-specific digital payment solution, developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in partnership with several government agencies, over its interoperable Unified Payments Interface (UPI) architecture will first be launched for Covid vaccine dispensation at private hospitals, the prime minister said.
