In January, the Justice Department entered the case by filing a brief. The association on Friday said it disagreed with forcing private companies to give equal treatment to all viewpoints. "'God Bless America' and 'Death to America' are both viewpoints, and it is unwise and unconstitutional for the state of Texas to compel a private business to treat those the same," it said in a statement.
“Moonlighting can be a great way to improve skills one doesn’t get the time to practice during their full-time job,” said Swati Bhargava, cofounder of CashKaro and EarnKaro.
The company said that as many as 91% of the eligible employees have already enrolled in the new system, Flex Comp.
While the guidance applies to all public companies, it is especially problematic for banks because their strict capital rules, overseen by bank regulators, require them to hold cash against balance sheet liabilities. The SEC did not consult the banking regulators when issuing the guidance, according to four of the people.
